Sound Touring Receiver System for evolution 500 Series

Sennheiser introduces a dedicated dual channel receiver to partner its hugely successful evolution® wireless range of handheld and bodypack transmitters; the ew 550 Live Touring Receiver.

This completely new design comprises of two independent UHF true diversity receivers within a 1u -19” rackmount unit, designed specifically for multi-channel operation. Each receiver offers 16 channel memories and 1280 programmable frequencies within a 32 MHz switching bandwidth.

Other enhanced features of the new design include an advanced RF input stage for optimum multi-channel systems operation in hostile sound touring environments.

Sennheiser’s highly successful German manufactured evolution series of high quality wireless and wired microphones continues to expand with several new products on show at PLASA.

The evolution wireless series offers a whole range of handheld, bodypack and ”plug-on” transmitter systems, pocket receivers, portable camcorder receiver packs and In Ear Monitoring. With switchable frequency operation, true diversity UHF technology, and HDX compander systems, together with dynamic and condenser microphone capsules and system configurations; evolution offers unrivalled price to performance standards.

The evolution wired range of metal bodied stage microphones feature differing capsule types and response patterns sharing the same innovative capsule development, rigorous construction and quality control standards that is expected from a Sennheiser product.
