The optical microphone MO2000 unique in its features is made for industrial usage. It uses optical light for signal transmission instead of electricity. Therefore, the microphone head and the signal line can be made completely free of metal.
Decorated with the Innovation Award of the German Economy it is available in two variants, thus covering fields of application with highest requirements.
The MO2000 can be used in medical applications, such as speech transmission in the MRI without interfering the image processing or as an acoustic surveillance of a production site.
The IAS MO2000 is the only optical microphone with ATEX certification class 1 and therefore dedicated for the usage in explosive environments such as industrial gas fields.
