PC 330 G4ME: A high-performance headset designed for your G4ME
The new PC 330 G4ME is for casual gamers who take big LAN parties as seriously as the professionals. The noise of mass sessions is always a challenge, but Sennheiser Communications has designed a great solution – a clever ear-cup design that strikes the balance between immersion and communication. The PC 330 features closed acoustics, so gamers can shut out their surroundings completely for full-on action. To talk to neighbors directly, they just flip up the right ear cup like DJs do in a club. Other convenient features include automatic microphone mute which is triggered by raising the boom. Of course, the PC 330 has trademark Sennheiser stereo sound quality and a high-end noise canceling microphone that makes it easy to chat uninterrupted online.
The PC 330 has a stylish ear cup design that’s perfect for big gaming events. The cups cover the entire ear to shut out noise and the new swivel mechanism on the DJ Hinge works great – all it takes is an intuitive flick of the wrist. Another clever feature of the PC 330 is the volume control, which Sennheiser Communications has conveniently integrated directly in the right ear cup. It’s a vast improvement on the standard in-line control and cuts out that annoying fumbling around for wires in the middle of a game or Skype session. Like the swivel DJ Hinge, the on-ear cup control gives gamers fast and intuitive access with no unnecessary distractions. Muting the microphone is even quicker. At the end of a gaming session, you just raise the microphone boom.
The speaker technology on the PC 330 delivers the sort of high-end sound gamers have come to expect from a headset bearing the Sennheiser name. The clarity and detail of the soundscape is fantastic, ensuring players feel completely immersed in the game. This year, judges received submissions from close to 60 countries in all and selected award winners across 17 different product categories.
