| Ace of Base on tour with Sennheiser wireless |
The Swedish band Ace of Base became a phenomenally popular international act with their 1993 debut album, The Sign.
Olle Nordström at Sennheiser Nordic in Stockholm was in the autumn of 2007 contacted by the band, who were interested in entering a Sennheiser Artist Relation agreement. Ace of Base, - old fans of Sennheiser microphones and In-ear-monitor, wanted reliable and professional equipment for their tour.

10 channels EM 550 G2 and SKM 935 G2 are used on vocals except Jenny who use 1 channel SKM 5200 with Neumann KMS 105 capsule. Ulf is also using the headmic. HSP 4 ew. Ace of Base also use 8 channels EW 300 IEM G2 (In-ear-monitor). Ace of Base’s technician Håkan from “Rent Sound” in Sundsvall was very happy when he realized, that the band had made the choice to use Sennheiser microphones again, with the highest requirements for live events.
One of Håkan’s favorite microphones, the SKM 935 G2, is a truly professional stage microphone, which easily cuts through the mix, offering clarity and projection even with high ambient sound levels.
Throughout 1994, Ace of Base dominated radio in America and Europe with "All That She Wants," "Don't Turn Around," and "The Sign". By the end of the year, The Sign had sold over eight million copies in the U.S. alone. Ace of Base was nominated for three Grammy’s that year, including Best New Artist.
Currently the group is planning for a handful of concerts during the month of November up till the 15th of December. Next year a world tour.
Sennheiser Nordic wishes Ace of Base all the best for their “World Tour 2008”.
