| This year’s AudioVisual exhibition |
This year’s AudioVisual exhibition at the Helsinki Fair Centre took place from October 3rd to October 5th 2007. Sennheiser Nordic was represented for the first time and on exhibit were the products from the portfolio of Sennheiser, Klein+Hummel, Neumann, Apart and Rycote.
“This years AudioVisual was a perfect opportunity for us to communicate to the customers and endusers,” explains Peter Nyman, MD of Sennheiser Nordic’s partner-office in Finland. “We had been looking forward to the exhibition for some time, since this year would be the first time, we would exhibit as Sennheiser Nordic.”
Bjørn Rennemo Henriksen, Nordic Sales Director of Sennheiser’s activities within the businesssegments of Installed Sound, Music Industry and Professional Systems adds: “The show was great! We’ve been in business for almost 2 full years in Finland, and it was just splendid to have time to meet with customers and enduser, listening to their thoughts, ideas and opinions upon our business and products, - especially the most recent launched products.”
At the booth of Sennheiser it was apparent that the company is operating Nordic. The personnel, who met with all the interested visitors, were, besides the local representatives Mr. Jukka Hyyrynen and Ms. Marika Willför-Wainio (based at the Sennheiser Nordic office in Helsinki) personnel from both the Sennheiser Nordic headquarter in Copenhagen, Denmark and product specialist from the Sennheiser Nordic branch offices in both Oslo, Norway and Stockholm, Sweden.
Sennheiser exhibited well known products from a.o. their significant series of wireless receivers and transmitters, MKH series of broadcast and studio applicational high-end microphones but also the brands of Neumann, Klein+Hummel, Rycote and Apart. The two last mentioned brands however, are not owned by the Sennheiser Group.
The most distinguished products on exhibit were the new “MKH 8000-series” of high-end microphones, the wireless speaker PAS 100 from Klein+Hummel and the 40 years jubilarian from Neumann: The limited edition “U87 Anniversary” model.
The AudioVisual 07 turned out once again as the most important professional event of the year in Finland, offering a three-day forum for professionals, designers, decision-makers, representatives of companies and training institutions which buy audiovisual products and services, producers/buyers of events and corporate entertainment, together with the foremost suppliers of products and services and related organisations.
Sennheiser Nordic looks forward to exhibit again in 2009.
