| A tiny addition to your luggage — a huge addition to your listening pleasure: Sennheiser CX 6 Travel |
Whiling away the hours on long journeys with really good music or exciting films can now be done without having to endure any significant background noise intrusion, thanks to the new CX 6 Travel. The best Sennheiser sound has been combined with a high degree of passive attenuation in a compact ear-canal headphone, guaranteeing your listening enjoyment on planes and trains. The chic black and silver earphones are being unveiled at the CES in Las Vegas.
“You can fit the CX 6 Travel in even the smallest of travel bags”, explained Product Manager Sven Wilhelmsen. “It’s a genuine, high-end, ear-canal headphone with a powerful bass and detailed sound reproduction. For regular travellers, the CX 6 Travel is an ideal companion.”
Smart adapter The ear-canal headphone is connected to the entertainment system via a double mono adapter. At the same time, this adapter changes the CX 6 Travel’s impedance, which needs to be considerably higher for in-flight entertainment systems than for mobile players. “This adapter enables the CX to sound fantastic whatever the source, whether it’s an MP3 player, a smartphone, a CD player or even an in-flight entertainment system”, said Wilhelmsen.
Everything you need Being a real globetrotter, the CX 6 Travel comes loaded with a double mono adapter, a cable clip, a hard transport case and adapter rings in S, M and L. This means the CX 6 Travel can be perfectly adapted to the anatomy of your auditory canal, keeping distracting noise at arm’s length.
