| Sennheiser NAMM Party moves to The House Of Blues with Robert Randolph & The Family Band plus Grammy nominated OK GO |
| 08.01.2007 Holte, Denmark |
Sennheiser's 9th Annual Dealer Appreciation Party is the not-to-be-missed blowout event of the 2007 NAMM Show. Back by popular demand is guitar-player extraordinaire Robert Randolph and the Family Band headlining an evening full of top-flight music, food, and drinks at one of the coolest venues in Southern California, the House of Blues-Anaheim. Located a short walk from the Convention Center in the Downtown Disney District of Disneyland, HOB Anaheim will be the only place to be on the evening of Friday, January 19th.

First on the bill is OK GO, a band whose worthy indie heart in their latest offering, "Million Ways, Pt. 2", is now broadcast to the world via the muscle of Capitol Records. If charisma alone could steal stars from the sky, OK GO would have quite a pile. And if the ability to write and record infectious songs could place stars back in the sky, OK GO could easily spell their name in the heavens on a moonless night. Their onstage theatrics will be accompanied by rock-solid Sennheiser sound. OK GO use a stage full of Sennheiser Evolution Series wired and wireless microphones along with Sennheiser IEM systems - the very same microphones they tour with.

The night will culminate with the extraordinary talents of steel guitarist, songwriter Robert Randolph, who Rolling Stone named as one the 100 greatest guitarists of all time. He's performed with everyone - John Medeski and the North Mississippi All-Stars, Dave Matthews, Ozzy Osbourne, Ringo Starr, Buddy Guy, Santana, and some dude named Eric Clapton (among so many others!). Together with his Sennheiser Evolution 935 microphone and his Family Band, featuring his cousins Danyell Morgan and Marcus Randolph on bass and drums, respectively, and keyboardist, Jason Crosby, he'll have you dancing like it was for all the gear at NAMM to dangerously awesome blues, funk, go-go, and even country.
Robert Randolph and the Family Band have masterfully captured their funk/blues/rock amalgam on record. On their new top-selling CD "Colorblind" Randolph gets as close as humanly possible to live performance within the confines of the recording studio.
Noted U.S. artists relations manager, Kristy Jo Winkler, "Robert Randolph and the Family Band was a huge hit at our NAMM Dealer Party in 2004. The response was overwhelming and we're so excited we were able to get him back for this year's show. And just when you thought it couldn't better, we signed Grammy-nominated OK GO. So remember it's Robert Randolph and the Family Band with OK GO at the House of Blues, on January 19th. Be there!"
To attend, just go to the Sennheiser Booth #6579 and ask one of the sales reps for an invitation. The party starts at 7:00 p.m. Friday, January 19th to 11:00 p.m. at The House of Blues, 1530 South Disneyland Drive, for complimentary food, cocktails, and entertainment. From the Convention Center, it's only a ten-minute "zip-a-dee-doo-dah" walk, a $5 cab ride, or a $3 Disney shuttle ride round trip (purchase tix in advance via your hotel).
