| Product launch at prolight+sound Easy and fast: wireless set-ups with the NET 1 systemSystem |
| 29.03.2006 Frankfurt, Germany |
At prolight+sound, audio specialist Sennheiser, the world´s leader in professional wireless solutions, is unveiling its new NET 1 network system, which ensures convenient configuration and efficient control of multi-channel wireless microphone systems.
The most important feature of the NET 1 system is its frequency management facility, which makes setting up even the most complex wireless systems incredibly simple. Its frequency bank scanning and automatic distribution of frequencies to the receivers as well as wireless synchronization of the transmitters make NET 1 an extremely comfortable tool for system configuration.
A NET 1 system allows up to 10 receivers to be connected. To operate multi-channel systems, several NET 1 systems can simply be cascaded via an Ethernet interface. As an option, a PC can be connected to allow real-time monitoring and remote control of all the relevant receiver and transmitter parameters. As a result, the user maintains a clear overview of the entire network.
Users of "evolution wireless" systems of the series ew 300 G2, ew 500 G2 and EM 550 G2 as well as the new SKM 5200 hand-held transmitters and the new SK 5212 bodypack transmitters merely require a Firmware update in order to start using NET 1. Remote control of the EM 3532 receiver requires a PC. The integration of further Sennheiser wireless systems is planned for the future.
The NET 1 system can be installed in a 19" rack and has a wide voltage range power supply unit for worldwide use.
