Rycote has produced windshield systems for all types of microphones for more than 30 years and during this period they have become the industry standard for reducing wind noise and muffled suspensions in general for the professional audio market. Rycote has recently received a Technical Achievement Award from Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for design and development of the Modular system.
