Sennheiser and Neumann at Uppsala Concert Hall

Uppsala Concert and Congress Hall is expected to become one of Sweden's leading concert and meeting venues. Created by Henning Larsen Tegnestue, who also created the magnificent Opera house in Copenhagen. The Garnd Hall accommodate 1150 guest.
The Grand opening was set to 1:st of September, and before that the house was filled up with Sennheiser wireless, IR-system, microphones and Neumann microphones.

The wireless equipment for the concert halls is 16 channels of EM550 double evolution receivers, with 16pcs of SK500 beltpack transmitters and 8pcs SKM565 vocalist radio microphones. There is a variety of 20 evolution mics for instrument/backline. 6 of the popular Neumann KMS105 vocalist microphone and 16 pcs of KM184 in stereo pairs condenser mics for classical instruments, overhead and choirs.

The house also includes a conference centre which was also furbished with Sennheiser microphones.  Besides some evolution wireless systems there are 14 pcs of MZH3042 + ME34 + MZTX31PTT gooseneck microphones with cardioid capsules capsules and PTT-buttons on the table stand.  Two halls has been equipped with Sennheiser IR-systems for hard-of-hearing purposes, including  6 pcs SZI1015 IR-emitters, 2 pcs SI1015 IR-modulators and RI810S IR-receivers with EZT1011 induction loops.

Project manager for the audio installation was Lennart Ödlund from PA Ljud AB. He fulfilled the requirements from the chief technical director Hans "Surte" Norin

The Sennheiser and Neumann microphones are to companion two new Steinway grand pianos at best of concerts in any of the three concert halls.
